I was such a joy to meet up with Alison for her session last week. We went to Blue Oaks Park in Roseville, CA to take portraits for her business. She is a therapist in El Dorado Hills. I loved all the candid and posed looks and her portraits turned out so good!
Sometimes I really connect with my clients and Alison was one of those people who have an open heart and share freely. I enjoyed hearing about all the places she has lived (some of which we have in common- like Argentina!). I appreciated her easy personality and I can say that she would be an excellent therapist!
Blue Oaks park in Roseville has a lot of oak trees and yellow grass this time of the year. In the spring it's pretty green, but as the summer goes on it all dries out. Some people actually prefer the yellow grass, as it gives the skin a nice warm tone. The trees in this area create natural archways for the perfect backgrounds. There are also several little trails where people walk and sometimes bike. A few trees have fallen and create little sitting areas for a variety of poses for clients of all ages. I would highly recommend this park if you are looking for a photoshoot location!
