This year, all I wanted to do for my birthday was to go to a nice hotel by the beach (that wasn't too far of a drive from Sacramento). We searched all over for something that was nice and quaint, but wouldn't break the piggy bank. My husband is great when it comes to hunting, so he sent me a couple of ideas and I just fell in love with this place near Half Moon Bay. This little hotel only has 10 rooms and is nestled in the most enchanting cypress grove of trees. It's right next to a little cove where seals like to come and birth their babies and a quiet place for them to nurse their young. This location is up on a cliff, but there are paths all along the cliffs and trees. Well maintained stairs take you down to the little beaches where you can walk along the shore and explore tide pools during low tide. David and I had the best time enjoying the accommodations and exploring beaches and nearby towns. I would highly recommend this little getaway location for any of your upcoming special events.
The beach was a bit cloudy and gray, so I went into the dark side of editing as it really fit the mood and location. My business, Debbie Stockwell Studio, mainly has a light and airy editing style but I like trying new things and enjoying the creative flows of life. I'm thinking of having some of these made into canvas wall hangings. Which ones do you like the best?
Location: Seal Cove Inn, Moss Beach, CA
