I met Brenda a month ago while photographing her son on a senior portrait. I had not idea she would be having her baby just a couple of weeks later! She was so helpful on my session, carrying her son's outfits and water bottle. It was a very hot day! I was thrilled when she reached out to do her newborn session with me. We got her booked at the studio 2 weeks after having her sweet baby girl. Her whole family came to get family photos, then the teenagers took off while I got some beautiful images of her and her husband snuggling their newborn. It was great to have 90 minutes with them since the baby had to be fed and changed a couple of times. I highly recommend a longer session for newborns because they have so many needs. Sometimes they just need soothing and it takes time in a new environment for them to calm down.
The Bloom Collective is a little studio in the heart of Roseville where I do maternity, newborn and branding portraits. It's perfect for that light and bright look of photography and all the white in the room just reflects perfectly. If you have a session during the day, no artificial lighting is needed because it has two huge windows that let in just the right amount of lighting. I love the way these pictures turned out for this sweet family and I can't wait to see their newest addition growing up as their family photographer.
