Family in Ford Truck

Debbie Stockwell Studio's photoshoot at Sunset Whitney Rec Area in September, 2025.

There’s something magical about photographing kids who are allowed to just be kids — free to dance, laugh, climb, and explore. This recent session was one of those unforgettable evenings where everything came together: the golden sunset light, the wild open fields, and three free-spirited little girls full of life.

Meet this beautiful family — mom, dad, and their three daughters: a sweet, spirited older sister and her younger twin sisters who are equal parts energy and mischief. From the moment they stepped out of their white Ford truck, the girls were ready for adventure.

And that truck? It became the center of their little world. They danced in the bed of the truck, climbed up and down like it was a jungle gym, and one even sprawled across the roof like they owned the moment — and they absolutely did. Watching them play there, lost in their own world of sisterly fun, reminded me why I love this job so much. There’s beauty in the in-between moments, the relationships, the chapstick, and the kind of joy that only childhood can hold.

After the truck dancing and plenty of twirling in their dresses and boots, we wandered into the fields. The girls gathered and threw leaves, chased each other around mom and dad and raced into their loving arms in the warm September light. Every laugh echoed across the open space, and every quiet moment was laced with connection — between the girls, and with their proud parents watching from a distance.

These images aren't just photos — they're memories in motion. They tell a story of sisterhood, of carefree days, of a family who knows how to let their kids explore and shine just as they are.

To this beautiful family — thank you for trusting me to capture your chaos, your connection, and all the love in between.
